Learner progress bar bounces back and forth endlessly trying to fit in the container

      Description

      to reproduce the problem login to Lams, add new lesson. find out its lessonId.
      and then simply enter the next url:
      /lams/home.do?method=learner&lessonID={lessonId}
      just insert your lessonId.
      Learner progress bar will bounce back and forth endlessly trying to fit in the container.
      and IE8 will hang up!

      as they describe pretty much the same case.
      and may be setting
      .container_class {
         position: fixed;
      }
      will solve the problem
